Located in the Ohio River Valley, directly across from Lewis County, Kentucky, AWF lies heavily in the rich abundance of trees. Portsmouth is a small town about 45 miles West of Ashland, Kentucky and about 80 miles South of Columbus. Logs are hauled from all over the tri-state area going as far south as Tennessee and as far north as Canada. All of AWF’s products are milled to exceed tolerance specifications set up by the National Oak Flooring Manufacturers Association or NOFMA. In fact, only the best and latest ways are used to mill our products including a 2003 Weinig Moulder and a 2003 Hasko End Matcher to give you the absolute best in milling tolerance that the industry has to offer.
